Went cold turkey on vicodin three days ago

I went cold turkey on vicodin three days ago after taking them for year and a half. I tried reduce the dose everytime but always felt short. I took around 10 to 12 everyday. Got the first one from my co worker and never stoped ever since. I really need support to go through this w/d. I was spending about at least a thousand a month in the black market towards my co woker. I feel stupid and ashamed to be tricked into this addiction. How long will this w/d last.... I cant sleep. I feel anxious.. Need sugestions.

Thanks everybody. I have no w\d symptoms at all:) Thanks everyone for ur support. Big huge hugs to everyone. And if anyone is reading this I would like to tell u. I have given away a week of my life but gained years and years of REAL happiness. Now I know mentally and physically that I dont need drugs to feel normal. I didn't know it was possible but I feel great even without it. Lets be strong everybody! This is me signing off from world of addiction. No more murdering myself slowly:) Bye guys. Your doing FANTASTIC.... Stay strong, congrats on your clean time and congrats on saying NO. It's too bad that this is a co-worker that you have to interact with daily.. So props to you on that. That's tells me how strong you are!!!! Everyday is a new day, and it just keeps getting better.

thank u for  ur support guys. i am still hanging on. Day four seems similar to yesterday.... My co worker asked today if I need more... Told him to  go  **** himself literally. I will keep posting. Ty for the help:)

I promise you, you are almost over the hump.  Every minute, every second gets you one step closer to being free.  

I came to this site for months before I went c/t - you can do it.  There are tons of stories here along with their own individual timelines ... I encourage you when you're up and can't sleep to read everyone's personal stories.  They'll give you hope.

You should be going through the worst of it right now. Everyone is different. Look up the Thomas Recipe on this site. It seems to have helped a lot of people. I completely understand you when you say you can't believe how this happened. I feel the same way. You can do it! Keep reading and posting, stay extremely hydrated.
