so glad your ok...
Oh and this was a huge eye opener that I am addicted to this medication and that I need to stop taking as much as I am taking. I really feel bad for people that get addicted to these types of drugs, because you feel so helpless without them, and I never want this to happen to me again.... again thanks for the advice all :)
Glad you're okay, but be careful drinking with the xanex. That is not a good mix.
As for the pharmacy not believing you - they have to keep an inventory of all medication and they are extremely cautious with controlled substances. All they have to do is go back and take inventory of the amount they have and what they recorded as going out. If it doesn't match up, they'll know they shorted you. Happened to me once and I too was scared they wouldn't believe me. Once they counted, they called me back right away and apologized all over themselves. So, don't stress about it. They can easily figure out if it was their mistake.
I found 3 pills that I had stashed that I didnt remember I had inside my coat so when Im out and if I need the pills they would be there. I realized this when I had my coat on leaving to go to the hospital because you all freaked me out hardcore about dieing. Anyways I took my pills when I found them and I have had a couple of drinks to make me feel better. I called my pharmacies 24 hour hotline and complained about the bottle being empty and they said they never heard of this happening before. Now I feel like they are going to think that I am lying about the bottle being empty, but maybe Im just being paranoid. I want to thank all of you for giving your advice, I appreciate it.
call 911 and have an ambulance come & get you, then after they help you, could you call somebody to come & get you? Maybe even a taxi, or something? But atleast if you get the ambulance to come & get you, you wouldn't have to wait for somebody to take you, and really risk your health, this is an emergency especially if your feeling the way you describe. So, please be careful, and keep posting so we know how your doing!! We will keep you in our prayers!!
Can your doctor not call you in a refill to another pharmacy that is open today??? Do you plan to continue taking such a large amount of xanax???It is highly addictive and can be a very dangerous drug?
I hope everything works out okay for you.
I agree...u really need to go to the er if you feel out of sorts...seizures are a big risk with benzos and withdrawal...do u have anyone who can take you?
Yes, Benzo withdrawals can be very dangerous. You can be in danger of a seziure especially since you are taking so many.
W/D from Benzodiazapines like Xanax can be very dangerous. Find a family member or friend who will take you. Thanks for posting, let us know how you're doing.
I totally agree with fladdict, u should go...Do u know the breathing techniques?
i would try that for a while before you drive, or try to find someone to bring u..
Please let us know how it goes....

First take some deep breaths and calm down, obviously you have a problem with anxiety and it's getting the best of you right now.If you feel that you cannot hang in there until tomorrow then by all means you should do as the help line suggested. Goodluck.
no...you need to go to the hospital...that is a pretty high dose to be taking and then go to taking nothing...that very well could be dangerous hun...dont risk it...go to the hospital and explain to them what happened and get some help...
i had a good friend try to get off xanax rapidly...she had a stroke hun...please dont risk this ok?
i know, i have agoraphobia also, i take a low dose of klonipin to help with that and the anxiety and panic. but you have to go...being a little freaked out until you get to the hospital is worth it instead of risking the other possibilities...
please seek some help with this...
Go to the ER... 24 hours could be a matter of life and death when it comes to benzo withdrawal. Is there someone who can take you??
