Congrats One.  I am Day 11 and life is good.  I too lurked here for a month cuz I was thinking about trying suboxone but after reading how bad withdrawal is from it, I came to this forum and found these wonderful people.  I read and read for a month and on Christmas day took my last devil pill.  I did not post until day 3 of when I thought I was dying and the response was immediate.  I have been here ever since.  Good luck, and stay strong.

thanks to all of you. nice to know i'm not alone in this. not even geography can stop people from helping others.

just took my dog for a walk. first time i've been outside since i started this. it was a short one, i'm tired, but i feel better i think.

as for aftercare, between my family, friends,my doc and my new cyber pals, i think i'll be ok. NO........i'm sure. my will is strong, my way is clear and there isn't anything that's stop me from getting where i want to be :)

Its addicts helping other addicts over come their weakness to drug addiction.   I was always told to never say never just take it one day at a time and live without the use of drugs or alcohol.  If there's a will there's a way to over come this beast called addiction.
