can my son have a healthy child?

My son hung out with the wrong people and got introduced to Methanphedimine, he used it for a couple of years. My question is this, hes been clean & sober for seven years, can he have a heathy child after using meth? Have they done any studys on that?

I'm not a dr but I am a parent of 2 children with a former meth addict and my daughter is top of her class, in her schools gifted n talented program. My son was an average child until he suffered brain damage. He did meth several years prior to us having children he had only been clean about 2 years when we had our daughter, and he could have relapsed in that time because then I had no idea what to look for so I wouldn't of even known. But coming from a parent yes he can.

There are no doctors here  on our forum .You might want to check the urology forum.  I have no idea .I know there have been studies that have stated some drugs can effect sperm but I don't know whether meth is one one of them .If you son has any questions I would suggest he talks to his a urologist and get his opinion .You can also try googling for more info .I wish I could be more help but that's a I know.
