day 10 jumped 8mg subs

Hi I'm Nate. I've had a 14 year opiate battle and hopefully at its end. 10 days ago I jumped 8mg suboxone. The wd was hard but I did it. Still have a little rehea and Still can't sleep. First 2 days I slept ok but I've only had 4 maybe 5 hours sleep in the last 8 days. With that said I am a little confused when I read articles saying I should be exercising regularly and staying productive all day. I can't even walk straight let alone do that because 4 of the last 5 days I didn't sleep a wink. Crazy! Don't I risk phnemonia or risk getting sick by wearing down the body when it's already at its breaking point???? Trust me I wanna take a jog and start putting my body back together but I'm just scared it could backfire. Does any of u have any experience with this? Thanx.

So you jumped from opiates using an 8mg sub or you jumped from 8mg subs? How long were you taking the subs? I jumped from 24mg of subs (taken for 6/7 yrs) in jan, 2014....

Hey Nate, i hear you. I'm on day 7 of quitting CT from Fentanyl. I had the same thought as you: my god, I'm even out of breath when I walk 3 metres!
I just listened to my body and gave it its rest. It is true tho, when you exercise and u start sweating, the withdrawalperiod should be shorter, you sweat all the meds out. Just do what your body is telling you, and a lot of good luck!
