Today is day 7 of no methadone.  I can't believe I am not wretching or running to the bathroom or even feeling like I'm jumping out of my skin!  I am terrified that this will end up hitting me like A train at rush hour!!  I started on the program at 30mg and quickly shot up to 120mg. Then started coming down a little at a time untill I got to around 60mg.  I did this a couple if mg at a time  it was taking forever.  Then there were the times I would forget to mention to the clinic to drop me another few.  Anyway I finally asked to be put on a blind taper.  Before I knew it I was at 25mg.  I never felt the dose change!!  I ended up walking off at 12mg.   So here I am day 7 and holding on.

I  doing this thing cold turkey. Have some tramadol to take hope this helps. My big thing is weight loss, i'm dowm to 104 lbs. Everytime I try qiuting I loose wt. and I hv no choice in this matter, out of money. I do hv insurance but I doubt it covers suboxone.

Hi just got your PM. You know what was strange for me was that I did not  get the bathroom thing..Just a few day after 25 d It was just cleaning out...I never got a stomach aches at all...When I did the hydo/oxys I got the leggy thing and I gave that to God, that was my worst fear and I never got that..Only for a couple of hours when I got a seriquil sleep aide..That is why I would not take anymeds because they seem to have triggered the w/d worse....I know now that because of the other drugs this is why my anxiety shoot to the moon. Then most people do deal with weakness & sleep issues. That was my last stage.....I think you will be on a better ride since you did such a good taper. The whole thing is to slowley get that beast out of your body...The brain does take awhile.....
OH GREAT JOB HANG IN....It does get better drug free....
