you do not have a chemical dependency Unisom. The way that you are taking does not reach the fetus in her womb, hence why you can take it. He has never been exposed to it over and over again that it is not an addictive substance.
Hi and welcome D! No matter what your doctor said every doctor told me that taken long-term and heavily that these OTC sleeping aids can get you addicted to them. You definitely need to taper off of them with the guidance of your doctor. Unfortunately, because of terms of service, we are not allowed to give tapering advice/information.
Hope this helps!
Hi D_Rockturnbull. Welcome to the forum. How are you feeling this morning ? Is your stomach still sick ? Are you having anxiety Trouble staying awake our having problems sleeping, Is your vision ok How about your Blood pressure ? If you are I would suggest going to a Dr. and letting them know what you were doing so you can get evaluated and any blood test you may need.. I would also suggest to plug into some kind of aftercare to mange your addiction.. although you were not using street drugs you were over using to the point it could have caused your death.. Addiction is still alive in you.. AA our NA meetings would be good. A Therapist is also good Any kind of aftercare would be such a help.. I sure hope you are feeling better today and that you will have no consequences that last long from taking so many unisom although you did not say how long you have taken that high of a dose.. Take care, lesa
