I don't know how much you were taking but if you were using every day for 5 years your body needs time to heal.  You can expedite the process by exercising and eating healthy.  The Thomas Recipe under most viewed health pages recommends L-Tyrosine.  Good Luck!

How long have you been clean for?  After abusing them for five years, it's going to take some time, but the energy will return.  You do have to have some patience when it comes to this.  Lack of energy and sleep is why a lot of people go back to using.  Exercise is good even though I know you probably have no energy to exercise, force yourself if you can at first - even if for just 5 or 10 minutes at a time.  Eat lots of lean meats and proteins, there are a couple good articles about brain foods, etc. around here, some in the health pages, others in user's journals.  Vitamins and amino acids can help out as well and there is an Amino Acid Protocol in the Most Viewed Health Pages, which is down at the right hand bottom of your screen if you scroll down.  Congrats on getting of the tabs and good luck to you!
