hallucinations

when i was rly little, i wont say the age bc its almost ridiculous, i was subjected to acid and angel dust as well as shrooms. I dont have flashbacks even though use was common, but i do feel very vacant, dreary, and apathetic as if none of the things i see are real..its only worsened with use of antidepressants and pills for psychosis. Can anyone relate?

thank you so much for your input all of you. And yes it was either against my will or unknowingly. My doctors took it into account and prescribed me pills for schitzophrenia, and i began to feel very dreamy. Ppl seemed like mists and i felt as if i were being controlled by someone else. I could have walked in front of a car and not cared. But the feeling hasnt faded and my memory is..my learning ability as well, and apathy is terribly bad...i will look into these things

I am sorry you went through that.

Please look up and research Depersonalization, and De-realization.

I have both of those, but with therapy, they can be controlled.

Message me if you want to.

Caffeine is known to be a trigger for both of those.

Hi & Welcome,

When you say "subject to" does that mean people were making you take it against your will? If so, that is very sad.

Since I began my drug use in the 60's, I too did quite a bit of those drugs and suffered with flashbacks for years afterward, but they have since stopped.

I think this is something you should definitely share with your prescribing doctor. I am not sure it has anything to do with your past drug use and may be a result of the medications you are currently taking. Perhaps they need to be changed or adjusted.

I hope this all works out for you and wish you the best.
