e and my wife were  heroin addicts for 13 years and could see no way out till we came on this site and met some wonderful people we have been clean for 71 days something inever felt possible but with courage determination and a lot of willpower and help from some great freinds letakos sopie sunshine jimi gizzy sara to name but a few well i no heroin would  eventually kill us as someone once said do you no any old heroin addits well i did not all had overdosed or died taking heroin im not saying the war is won bt we have one or  first round of our war this is the longest we have stayed offheroin for 13 vry sad years my children are proud of us we are proud of ourselves and i n some if not all mh members are also very proud of us without there help we would have died what im saying anything is possible with the right help we will keep this going and try nevr to go back thank you all for giving us our second chance at life its just great special thank you to letakos for the strengh and invalubile help and sophie when we needed a laugh jimi for his words of wisdom gizzy for the kicks up the backside sara for all the happy dancing and cathy for her support and many many others that would take me all day to write down i would just like to say thank you to everyone and will continue my constant battle with addiction and our road to freedom

You 2 lovebirds are fighting the war of your life and so getting there, unbelievable.
You set an example for all of us, it is possible to kick off even from one of the nastiest drug. You have my deepest respect.

72 days my good freinds 3 months ago i would never thought that possible but with courage willpower anything is possible yes  hard drug to quit but we are starting to feel like winners but wont let our guard down and letakos i love your blessingwill make us stay on the straight and narrow letakos  i was happy to let you in on our jurney you helped us through some bad times now all i feel is  great happiness that i also share with you our sister for without you letakos i dont think we would have made it i love your old trditions i think simple but magical with a lot of meaning i also hope your shoulder is on the mend as i feel me and kim are healing old wounds our hearts will always be open to you letakos as will your traditions and blessings god  bless you letakos big hug for a special freind wo has been with us from day one thank you our sister we bonded and will always walk together our sister in our journey james ans kim

congrats on that major clean time from a tough drug to kick..u r totally inspiring to so many here..i do hope u post from time to time..and keep us updated...wonderful story and this forum helped u..this forum rox..and i have lots to give back to it..be safe and never forget the reasons u quit..keep moving forward..always

My Dear James and Kim.. I have shared with you myself and my traditions that have been passed on from my Elders.. thank s for your comments as they mean so much and yes i will always keep our guard up as its so easy to let things slip but with our new house it keeps us very busy everyone helps and supports each other i found it to be my lifeline im so greatful to everyone and wish everyone much sucsses in there own battles against there doc good luck and keep fightng if we can do it anyone can thank you all at mh family a true place of love and light

CONGRATULATIONS to you and your wife!! I myself no just how hard the battle to get off and stay off heroin is!! I'm 73 days clean and found this site a few wks back, and I've stated I wish I knew about ift in the beginning when the going was really tough,since I've been on Ii have received a TON of support and am addicted to it,,,lol Keep up the fight I hope we all win the BIG battle!!Daisy
