There have been 12 deaths in EDINBURGH and GLASGOW ' This sadens me and for what greed for money by people who dont even use the drug this has all happened in 2 weeks im so glad i dont use anymore,but i know a lot of people that still do yes x friends but that does not mean i dont care about them. I hope who is doing this gets some of his own mediceine these people will always use no matter how many die as they cant help it there addicts the same as i was or you were they dont deserve this and i for one will be praying that todays death is the last but i dont think so. this is what taking heroin can lead too its a sad place to live when they cut heroin with a deadly substance

Hi its Kim here. I agree there is something wrong here when anthrax gets into heroin, its either as you said sophie, our governments way of getting the junkies out of the way as they cost the national health service money or as you say Brian its revenge of the drug lords but theres something very funny going on. I mean how does an ordinary drug dealer get a hold of anthrax, no way, its impossible. It has to be one of the 2 above. I feel very strongly about this so i had to say something as this could easily have been us. Even though we have never injected heroin, smoking it is still killing them too. They could be our sons or daughters, even grandchildren. God forbid. But there has not been one thing mentioned on the tv as to how the anthrax is getting into the heroin and it is spreading so obviously its been distributed all over and still being distributed. We pray the 12th will be the last but i doubt it as greed gets the better of the dealers that do not use, so they couldnt care less. I know we have a choice as to decide wether we should take it or not, but what about our young ones, just out to "just try it once" thats what saddens me the most. They are all someones sons or daughters. This is a conspiracy of some sort and no one will tell me different. Thanks just had to have my say as its my country, my city and maybe even some ex-friends. We maybe dont see them but i dont wish them dead.....Kim

You are right i wondered were they would get anthrax as i know it can be uses for chemical warfare.But we have to rember the taliban have control in Afganistan Pakistan were most of the heroin in the world comes from or as Sophie said is it away to get rid of all the junkies but its not been of the tv here in scotland i think its very sad indeedits 12 deaths here so far and brian you could well be right about drug lords taking revenge on the west i pray the 12 victom will be the last James

That is so sad. I agree with Sophie...where would someone get their hands on anthrax?  The is normally used as a weapon in war! When I was in the Marine Corps I had to get a series of anthrax vaccinations. It's amazing what these drug lords will do to earn a few dollars. They should get the death penalty no questions asked. Hopefully if word gets out that there is a mixture of anthrax, the ones using will seek help.

How are you feeling James? Remember to always dig deep for that positive energy. There is always some there whether it feels like it or not. If you ever need anyone to talk to, please know that I am here for you. Together we will get you through the rough days. You are doing an amazing job and are such a inspiration to me. The fight you have fought is one that many can't handle. But you are strong enough to handle it. Keep pushing forward buddy. You will still have some bad days but eventually the good days will out weigh the bad. Hang in there my friend and know that I am here for you! I'm proud of you accomplishments as you should be as well.

OMG This is insane!!!! Where does s/o find anthrax? Call me paranoid but it seems to me a very good way for a government to get rid of their junkies....just an idea...

That is so sad. I am happy you no longer use anymore either, just another thing to be thankful for James. Your right, they don't deserve that. You said they can't help it, but ANY addict CAN help it, God gave us free will and the choice to get help.

Congrats to you and Kim on all that clean time off heroin, not many make it out, but you have. Keep fighting it buddy, I am very proud of you:)
