Hello everyone....i wanted to check in and let everyone no ive made it 2 full weeks sober for the first time since i was 14 years old.....my thougjts drive me crazy and im exausted because ive been none stop working includeing the entire weekend but even that im so tired i still feel bettwr than i have in years.....i have a appt. to go meet with a doc aboit my thoughts tuesday and i hope i feel comfortable because i know i need to let some of this stuff out...but i havent used in 2 weeks and i owe alot of it to all of yall support thank yall soooo much.....i hope everyone is well and still clean or at least doing everything possible to be that way...god bless yall

Just wondering what process you used to find Dr. Need to find one but online was overwhelming and after spending so much money on pills don't have enough to shop around for right Dr for long time.

Congrauations! It's kind of funny to think about how old we were when we started...and you know how we always heard when younger, that you stop maturing when you start drugs. 2 weeks when you've been doing this crap for years! Keep pushing forward!

Wow I love this post! Congratulations on two weeks, that is GREAT! Talking out your issues will be good for you. It is an alternative to numbing, using and forgetting. It may hurt a little, but once you release the past it no longer controls you! Good luck and keep up the good work!

That is so awesome!! I am sohsppy for you. And even though you are wxhsusted I can guarantee working so much has helped you get through the worst. I notice when I get up and clean the house etc, I don't feel so bad. Once I lay back down the stomach and aching come back. It is great you are going to talk to someone. It is a huge part of your recovery. Get it all out. You have a lifetime of this crap. You have been an indpiration to me.

That's awesome, I hope you do let some of it out. As hard as it is and as uncomfortable as it can be, a huge pressure is released by sharing. Accountability grows too, which Lord knows, I need all of that I can get. Keep up the great work, two weeks and already inspiring people. Imagine how much better it will be.

The ups and downs be prepared b/c I am almost a month and still getting them, but when I get a tatse of those ups!!! Damn there is NOTHING better!!! I had a tough weekend a few down days but it was still better then using.

Keep it up friend! you are going to run into a lot of ups and downs on the path. Keep your eye on the ups. Downs don't last that long. It's all good for me now, it was worth the downs, and it will be for you too, so keep it up!
