i live in the huntsville al area i need help finding a private doctor that will prescribe me methadone for addiction ive been trying to get and stay clean for years and get my life together well methadone was the only thing that worked ive been claen for 6 months now i was going to the clinic for 5 months but got into a new house and simply cant afford it and they will not take my insurance ive been on suboxone for a month now and feel i am right around the corner from relapsing and losing what i have been working so hard for i was a heavy iv user and suboxone is just not doing it please somone help me find a doctor PLEASE

methadone is the only thing that has helped me live a stable life suboxone doesnt come close to meeting my needs for the amount of dope i used its very frusterating its too early in recover for me to have nothing that helps with the cravings

ive been to the methadone clinics its gotten too expensive that makes no sence the clinics will give you all the methadone you want but a private doctor wont with my insurance

sub has a ceiling effect so it could be ur dose of heroin was too high for the sub to cover

i am not sure what to tell u to google but sure u can figure it out

it is not unusual that sub can not cover a substantial heroin habit

No legitimate private doctor will prescribe methadone for addiction. It's illegal. The suboxone should work for you. If you are having cravings you need to talk to your sub doctor about adjusting your dose.
