Barbiturates should never be stopped cold turkey. That is good that you started taking them again at a lower dose. Please look for a doctor to help you with your taper.

Hi there. I am so sorry you are going through this. The withdrawals from barbituates can go on for quite a while and be very intense. They also can be dangerous possibly causing seizures. Are you doing this under the care of a doctor? I would highly suggest that if you haven't already, tell your doctor exactly what you are doing and what symptoms you are having. They may want to start you back on the Fiorcet and slowly taper you off, or may just want to monitor you closely and give you comfort meds to help you deal with this. Please take this seriously as it is a very serious matter. We are here for you and want to see you succeed in this. Your health comes first though. Please keep posting for support and keep us updated. Best of luck to you. Take care and try to keep your head up.
You are doing great! Unfortunately you just have to ride it out. It was around day 8 before I saw any "real" improvement but you are There! Almost over the hump! Just hang in there and KNOW brighter days are ahead! ONE CHOICE AT A TIME!
