Hello everyone! I'm posting tonight, to let everyone know how excited I am to be alive today... I have reached my goal and let me tell ya... it's been very trying, to say the least! As I was saying tho... I've reached my goal of being clean before my 25th birthday. I am still in active recovery even at 112 days sober. My birthday was Saturday the 21st, not a good day. Just a bad day in general, but when I felt temptation I came here to medhelp, and read and reread my posts. All of them. I wouldn't have changed my mind about being sober, wouldn't trade sober living for anything! I have a new found love, by the way.... call me redneck or hillbilly... whatever, but I have found out that I love mud bogs! Lol there is finally something me and my hubby have in common, besides our kids... lol and it's playing in the mud pits with his mud truck! Lol love it! Not trying to promote anything, but if your curious what I'm talking about, I'll post the link. I'm driving the truck with a gray front clip, blue doors and cab, and a red bed. O and it's a Chevy ...lol check it out if you'd like but I just wanted to update everyone on how I'm doing! Thanks for being there for me, all of you!

Woo Hoo!! Congrats! My hubby and I too found things in common,,we both play call of duty on the PS3 and have it logged on the internet so we can play with teams all over the world!! Im gonna have to tell about the Mud Pit though!! Sounds like more fun!!1 Way to go girl!!~Bkitty

Thanks you everyone! It's always refreshing to know that I'm not the only mud bug, and yes as said above, what I do now is some form of "good clean fun" lol I love that statement! It's a contradiction in it's self! Anyhow, gnarly, this is the first birthday in 11 years that I am actually able to say that I am sober! It feels good to be able to remember, even the bad things.... but atleast I can remember all of them now.

Thanks for the comments y'all! And Rodbird, my sleep still isn't the greatest, but around 25 to 32 days is when I started to finally see a bit of relief in that department. Ad far as the mud goes ... I now have something to spend my money on, that I can actually enjoy with my whole family!
