How much money are you spending buying heroin and sub on the streets?  It can't be much more expensive to go to the legal route with a sub clinic.  Try not to stay on the sub too long.  It just makes the mental part of detox last that much longer.

You can find a doctor here

This is goinng to take some research and work.  If you can save for the first appt, it can help.  If you find a sub support group in your area and attend a meeting, you will most likely also get help with a dr who will help u out.  The pharm compnay sometimes will help as well.

I am not sure where u live...there is a dr here who would help u...but that is here.
Is there a free clinic in your area?  sometimes the suboxone pharm company will help...I believe it is sub.org but now sure....there is also a list of DRs who may help you with sub as only certain drs can RX it.  Ill check which website it is.

You need to get help and support if possible from family.

Its a nightmare coming off heroin but it can be done with a lot of will power and help.

You really need to get on a proper detox programme buying the odd sub off the street ain't really worth it, sub one day, gear the next?

I feel sorry for you guys, no national health service must be a real problem.

You could just bite the bullet and go cold turkey with nothing at all, the first 3-5 days will be almost unbearable, but it will get better and it'll just be a memory!

Good luck to you!

I understand they make you feel "Normal" but it is a false feeling. It is not the answer. Heroin is my doc and I did it for the better part of 20 years. I found a better way now and it is so worth the try on your part.

Are your grandparents willing to help you? Almost all of the treatment centers have what is called an "indigent" program or an "alumni" grant for those people needing help but don't have insurance. Do you think your grandparents will make some calls and try and get you situated in a treatment center? It would be a huge step in the right direction. How do you feel about that?

Hi Raven and Welcome,

The only thing the Suboxone is going to do for you right now is ward off the withdrawal temporarily. You know that is not the answer.

Tell me, do you live at home? With your parents is what I mean?
