51 days clean from oxy hooray

Hello All,
I have been 51 days clean from oxy and all other narc pain meds. I am sorry I haven't had the time to post and let you all know how it was going but I switched jobs cause the travel was killing my back.  I still have some back pain but it is no where as severe as it use to be. I am now getting acupuncture and doing yoga and it really helps the pain. Last month I had a really bad episode with my back to the point where I couldn't even move without pain and my PM doctor wanted to give me a shot of duladid but I refused. I used the Jacuzzi and heating pad for a few days it the pain subsided ( which I am extremely proud of my self for doing). I want to thank all of you wonderful people for helping me get to where I am as you are my (along with my wife) pinnacle of strength.  Also to all of you who are going through the hell of detox and addiction I am living proof you can do it. So to all keep on keepin on-----quitinoxys

Thanks for your concern laurel, I have come tooooo far to go back and I didn't what all the people that stood behind me down (especially myself). I feel good now and what to stay this way. I was reading my original posts when I started this journey and I am amazed what I went through and where I found the strength, but I did and now I am here today off that nasty drug. I hope my journey can help someone else find their way through this tough situation. Thanks to all---quitin

HOORAy , quitin !!!!!!!!

congrats on those 51 clean days :)

sooo happy that you are doing well, i was worried . I think you have taken the most intelligent decision...what's money if our well being is suffering and our health is at risk, well done and glad that you will have time to post here and help with your strength and of course, that you found acupuncture and yoga to help you.

Thanks gnarly, most of the problem with my back was from travelling for work and I resolve that by finding a new job, pays less but my body thanks me for it. Glad to here from you again and now I will have more time I will post more often---quitin
