Considering that 2 months is still a relatively short time using, it's entirely possible, without  a whole lot of discomfort as well.  But you have to want to, and you have to want to never use it again. If you begin to think (and you will) that you can be an "occasional user",  that you can control it, you will fail, relapse and become a regular user before you even realize it.
The physical part of a "fresh" addiction may still be relatively easy to beat, but the psychological part of addiction may not be. That's why most people will advise you to seek counseling, or at the very least attend NA or AA meetings to learn and understand addiction, and how to defeat it, as well as set up that support system for when you relapse.

Yes it is possible. I have done it myself before. However the longest I lasted was 3 months before relapsing. Eventually I went to rehab and have been clean from heroin and all other illegal drugs for almost 8 months now. I too am like tonitalent, I have done just about every drug there is except for pcp. However heroin and crack cocaine were always my most problematic substances.

Yes indeed, it is possible---but not recommended. There's a huge relapse rate with people that go it alone. This is why God created aftercare! You need a therapist and you need AA/NA meetings because of all the weapons these great people can give you for your clean/sober arsenal. I wish you a successful attempt!
