Matt - im sure glad im not in your shoes, i was only taking it recreationally and so it will probably be easier for me to abstain from it once im off.  Ive done some research and first you want to taper off the meds, or myprevious advice, grab some kratom and taper off that.  I find that much eaiser because kratom doesnt have morphine but it binds to the same receptors as painkillers so you have little withdrawal symptoms.  Also, i know this may be hard for you but you need to find some way to exercise.  Exercising kickstarts the endorphines in your system.  You will probably have insomnia pretty bad so before bed i do some pushups.  It helps a little. Oh that reminds me, when you start taporing off the kratom, lower your dose to once per day before bedtime, because it will help you sleep

hi there and welcome i used to take20+ of tabs too. super hard on the liver...so i understand the desire to stop. i also have bad knees...just had right replaced and left scoped last Monday. so i know how bad knees hurt...why won't your hmo cover? mine did and im 41. are you in pain management? do you take the meds because of the high? or do you hurt that bad

Lots of fluids, eat even if you don't feel like it, Imodium for all stomach issues, nyquil can help with sleep (some it doesn't) & is that the only pills you are taking?

there are some things you can do that will help.  Imodium (liquid is best) for the runs and some say it helps a bit with the actual withdrawals.  Keep liquids going (water) and try to eat when you can.  Lots of hot baths will help as well.  You are gonna go nuts for 3-5 days for sure.  That is a lot of pills over a short period.  Add bananas to your diet..it will help with the jumpy legs if you have them.  I am 60 and did not die from it, but it still s u c k e d!

What i did was use kratom to taper off, it relieves much of the wd symptoms.  You can order it online or get it at a gas pipe store

I live with my mom and dad and im have a supper bad knee i nee it replaced but hmo does not care so there you go i guess and as of right now im shaking and have cold swats btw im dislexis so sorry about spelling

Do you have chronic pain issues or were you just abusing them? Do you live with your family/dad? It will be hard to stay clean while living with an addict. You CAN do this. Are you prepared? Do you want to quit cold turnkey,or are you planning on tapering off them? Have you considered seeking medical attention for this? I take it you want to attempt this on your own? In any case,here for you. Living clean is so much easier!! No more worrying about running out,feeling good about yourself,etc. Here to help you. A little bit more info please,sorry!! Wow. Sounds like my story. I wasn't up to quite that much but not too far & on my way to catching up. I flushed the rest of mine. It was the hardest thing I've ever done but I knew I had to. A real addict cannot have pills and not take them. Its sad but true....are you detoxing now? Are you still taking pills?

well my hole family took norco 10/325 but its just me and my dad who abusing i was up to 25 of them a day and i still would want to talk more i went  though 130 of them in 2-3 days :(
