I was just woundering how you were doing. It makes me very sad to see you have this problem in the prime of your life. Let us know how you are doing.
The klonopin will not help with the cold sweats and chills! It will definately help with the anxiety (when it feels like your about to lose your mind) & it will also help with the insomnia, you will probably have this for a 1-2 wks!! Just be very careful with it, because it is a very addicting substance as well!! & being a benzo, the withdrawls from that are much worse than the withdrawl from opiates!! I know withdrawl from opiates FEELS like your gonna die, but you won't!! The withdrawls from benzos can actually kill you!! Be safe, good luck, & God Bless!!!!
That's a pretty high dose of opiates although many of use here have taken around that many mg's in a day. Do you plan on going cold turkey? Check out the health pages and look for the amino acid protocol. It lists some vitamins and supplements that will help that way you don't have to take the clonopin. As addicts it can be very easy to switch addictions. When detoxing we wan't to get out of the habit of taking addictive substances. Also be sure to exercise, eat healthy and push the good fluids. Force yourself to stay busy. I've noticed if you just lay around and feel sorry for yourself makes it an even tougher ordeal.
Be sure to stick around this forum. There is so much support and everyone here will help you get through the withdrawals.
Congrats on wanting to get your life back!
