lexipro and energy

I am on day 14. I work out every day, take a multivitamin, and sleep 6 to 8 hours a night. I was prescribed lexipro for my craziness a while back. I see some of you have suggestions for what to take to help with the energy problem. I also see that you say not to take the supplements if you are on antidepressents. Would lexipro be classified as an antidepressent? I need energy, I have to chase after four kids.

PS: I know the lack of energy sucks, but don't just stop the Lexipro so you can take the supplements. That can be really dangerous.

Lexipro is an anti-depressant and like avisg said, you shouldn't take some supplements with it. Ask the doc who prescribed it to you if there are supplements that are safe for you to take.

lexipro ,is an ssri antidpressant and no you cant take Ltyrosine ,5hpt,or sam-e when on it,it can cause a spike in your blood pressure

Yes I believe Lexipro is classified as an antidepressent.  I think the Thomas Receipe will tell you which supplements you can take.
