how do i stop?

I want all these urges to go away from the pain meds muscle relaxers , xanax what do i do ? It has been 3 years

We would all love to have the urges stop since the urges are what made(or still make) us take the drugs.  If there was a magic pills or some such thing that we could use to stop the urges we'd all use it and this site and things like it wouldn't be necessary.  The sad fact is that we all have to work to overcome the urges long enough to retrain our brains to live without the drugs.  A good start is coming to this site.

I looked at your profile to see what meds you are talking about. hydro, roxy up to 30 pills a day.  Tell what you are taking this past few weeks. mgs etc. The more information you give this better they can help.  Some meds need to taper and I'm sure xanax is a important one to get off of in a safe way. Someone on here said the doctor put them on libreum (cant spell it)  which is a drug that would have been safe for a doctor to use for my wds because I don't like it at all. But the others you can either taper or ct.  We will help alot here.  I got clean by using this forum and God  after a 8 year addiction to opiates. (I also have a long history with AA so that helped
