Oh Rosey I feel your pain my doctor told me to go back on them straight away at the same levels and the same routine as I was previously on. Sounds strange I know, but he advised me that the only way to come off them was to do it slowly over a long period of time. Start with small baby steps, cut down by a half a tablet for a week,or even two, then a whole one for two weeks even three and so on. he told me that going cold turky was deadly as you have found out the hard way. I was on 6oo.mg twice a day and tried the same thing as you and got the same results as you ! I wished I was dead :) The good news is however doing it very slowly and methodically I am now free of them. The question is though has the pain that you had that started you on the taking of them gone or are you just trying to stop for other reasons ?..remember originally we started taking them for pain of some discription, I'm asumin ?Anyway, that was my experiance and I hope it may help you too..GOOD LUCK REMEMBER IT WILL PASS IF YOU DO IT SLOWLY....

Light withdrawals is what it sounds like to me but how long have you been taking the morphine for? And never more than one or two days at a time? Try to provide as much info as possible so that either myself and:or someone else can respond easier.
