my Xanax progress+ Life
Im not sure what day of my taper I am on, i havent really been keeping track of that and wont start counting the days until i havent had any xanax at all...but I just wanted to update that I am doing very good on the taper. for the last 2+ days now Ive only had 1 crumb of xanax each day. Im amazed ive done so well, especially for how chaotic its been lately. My 6 yr old is graduating kindergarten tomorrow but the award and ceremony stuff is all tonight, and omg you would think he was graduating with a phD from college LOL. The school sent home letters saying the kids need to wear dress clothes for tonight and wow have i been busy preparing for this "just kindergarten graduation thing" LOL. Ive been running around buying shirts/ties/dress pants/dress shoes, batteries for the camera etc. I got super lucky on the shoes , once upon a child ( a used kids store) is going out of business and had a clearance sale- i got 6 pairs of NICE shoes for a buck a piece!!!!!! Im talking name brands like Vans, Fila, Nike, SKetchers etc! So he has some really nice shoes in great shape for next to nothing! also got my boys some Old Navy shirts for a buck too.
ANyhow, ive been running around like crazy since 4 a.m every morning doing all kinds of stuff and trying to remember everything, plus do the regular stuff i need to like gettting him up, fed, showered and off to school each day, go to the vets for dog stuff, cook, clean, laundry and do it all without hurting my back or stressing myself out and needing a xanax. btw it feels SO GOOD to be spending money on my kids isntead of Dr appts and pills!!!!!!!!!!! I cant tell you how great it feels to do this!
I will keep you guys updated on my progress and hopefully soon i will be able to say DAY 1 off xanax for good, too.
PS I'll upload pics later of my sons and his graduation pic =)
P.S.S. I got some thank you cards for his teacher and his old bus driver (he hasnt rode the bus in months) and wrote a nice little note to both and put pictures of him from his first day of school with them and had him sign his name on them too, he thought that was the coolest thing to do! He's gonna miss his teacher!

I too em pleased to hear how well your tapering is going :) Be sure to slow down for tonight to enjoy the moment as they grow quickly.. hugs lesa

Am glad to hear the tapering is going well......dont stress yourself out now. Be glad you can still buy things for the boys.....wont be too long and your idea of clothes will be totally hideous to them!!!! LOL
