I no longer feel like i can deal with this ****..I know there is no good time to quit doing drugs..but all I can now think of is drinking..which i am doing now at 7:30 am  and filling my RX next week..I know it's not going to help..but that is where I'm at..I wrote a post on the social side about my kid..I am stuggling real hard to keep it together but i feel like I am losing this battle once again..I just need some common sense and truth told/yelled or even screamed at me..I don't want to fail this after the longest 30 days in my life..

I am so sorry...you have had a tough time....my friend who has been sober from alcohol for 5 years started drinking again last week...i did not know her when she drank but in the short time I know why she quit ...that is enough said...I drink as well but I luckily do not abuse it...She had a narcotic problem as well and i dont think she picked those back up...she went back to her first DOC...alcohol...I just hope things get better soon...i will say prayers for you..I know your daughter is missing but have missed alot of this story...is she with someone she knows ,,your daughter?

Hon, i too am so sorry about your daughter.  I am not quite clear on this, is she with her Dad?
As far as the drinking in place of the hydrocodone, or whatever your doc was, mine was vic, or lortab, i can indeed relate.   Only not a morning drinker.  But, 1 glass of wine is never enough now so i know i have traded one addiction for another.   Going  to my dr. on tuesday and will be open for therapy or whatever will help.  I took my last sub 6 mos. ago and i don't think my brain is right yet.  i had only used for 8 mos. or so and 10 to 12 a day.   Stay strong, you can make it.  We support each other here and it is my na or aa.  Please keep posting so we know how you are. No the last time her dad was able to speak to her she was around Manteca..but where now?? i don't know..This evil man would most likely not be in a well populated area..more like campground,parks,etc..they have no $ and the original plan was for then to drive toward Las Vegas until they ran out of gas..Tanyas dad tried to gain this mans trust and even tried wiring $ but it didn't work ,then tried again but apparently at the western union place they asked him too many questions that he couldn't answer so the cancelled the transaction..That sent this man into a psychotic rage and this is when he decided not to let her go and the got violent on the phone to Tanyas dad..I know she will somehow get away..but so far..nothing..Thankyou everyone
