you sound like what the book calss the jumping off place, when you talk of not wanting to die, but not go on either.  You sound pretty young, and not sure if youve lost enough yet.  if not , you will.  I wouldnt worry about the job right now, there will be others, you need to worry about the one life you have , and how much danger your putting your body in.  The detox and w/d will hurt, no doubt about like everyone has said.  You need some pain to realize that you dont ever want to feel it again.  Definate candidate for in house treatment.  Maybe detox in a hospital 1st.  Remember that it is a hard thing to do , but it is not impossible, and once you do it, it will all be worth it, the peace and content you feel with drugs goes away , the content and peace of sobriety lasts a lifetime, and grows stronger.  hang in there. f

You have a long, hard road ahead of you.  It will not be easy, but it is doable if you really want it.  Inpatient treatment if that is possible.  If not, determination, struggle, pain, blood, sweat and tears will take you to FREEDOM from a life of chasing, counting, living life on a one little pills terms.........

You are bigger than that.  Don't ever forget it!!  I hope you stay here, keep reading, and posting.  We are always here to help.

God Bless,
Nauty.....................

You are going to have to suffer if you want to quit. There is no magic cure, and it is too bad we don't know ahead of time what we are getting into.If you have been using pills for 4 years, you have experienced extensive brain changes that require treatment of some kind to help get you on the right path. You are not going to be able to kick on your own, I hope you are strong enough to get help!

There is no way to avoid the withdrawal, only MAYBE ease it. If you have someone whom you trust who can hold the meds and help you do a taper, that could help but it is difficult at best. You are on a fairly high dose so it is going to take time and will be difficult.

You should consider in=patient treatment to deal with not just the phsycial withdrawal but the mental which is the hardest part.

Firs thing you want to do is lose the street lingo. "Drones" "Rectangle" Circles"...all street lingo.

Also, you will not be able to taper if you are snorting them. You are spiking your dose and it is impossible to regulate that.

There is no miracle cure so you have some decisions to make. You are young and if you get this done now you have a good chance at a future.
