I feel like a failure

I feel like a total fraud and failure.  I have decided that I am going to be 100% honest on this forum.  As I said in my profile, I am a binge user and even though I have contacted all the doctors in my area and told them not to give me any pain meds, I have held onto my "old faithful" dentist.  I had major dental surgey earlier this year and can still use that as an excuse to get med.  I failed yesterday and called him for a refill on the lortab and he gave it to me.  He only gives me a dozen and they are gone before you know it, but I feel horrible about myself for what I have done.  The day after I get them, I usually am so down on myself that all I do is hide out in my bedroom.  I guess I am a good actor because my family hasn't discovered this or either they are in denial like I am about it.  Please pray for me.  I don't know what to do.  Well, I do know what I have to do, I just don't know if I have the strength to do it.

You are not a failure to anyone but yourself that is who you have to be honest with.  Just get rid of the sourse of temptation.  Once an addict always an addict.  And we all want to backskide, so if the trigger ir temptation is removed you no longer can rely on this crutch, you will HAVE to be honest with yourself.  Just get back on the horse you fell from andf keep moving forward.  And come clean with your family so they can help you
hugzzzzzzzzzzzz I am praying this helps you

A binge user is like a binger drinker. Someone who uses ocassionally and can go without the drugs when they have to but if they are around, we can't help ourselves.  I have had this monkey on my back for some 15 years now and I can honestly say that I haven't experienced withdrawls.  Maybe if I had the w/ds it would make me quit.  I don't know.  Thank you guys for the support and well wishes.  This always happens when we are out of school for something.  Whenever I have to get up and go to work, I don't think about the drugs.  I am going to try hard this time.
