Need Help Addiction

I have been taking Hydracodone, 10/325's one or two a day and also Xanax (small Blue one 2mg I think) one or two at night to go to sleep for about 4 or 5 months. How do I ween myself off of these and what kind of withdrawal symptoms can I expect?

Dont get too uptight here purple. Read through some posts and you will find that your consumption is within prescription parameters if you are telling the truth. You shouldnt even be worried about w/d's, but if you are - start leaving a pill out of your dose for a few days and then lose another....you should do just fine. But keep posting and ask whatever you need to...no such thing as too much concern or knowledge

Hi... you will find answers here... I am in the same boat... no Xanax, but a bit over 30 mpgs a day hydro...
the options are probably tapering off or cold turkey...

if you have time and can take off of work, I would do the c/t instead of tapering... if you have to work through it, try tapering, but I suggest that you have help sticking to the tapering schedule...

as I said, you will get good info here... there are some great posters here

Good luck to you... the first step is always deciding to quit... you can do it
