Day 9 ...sleep *****!

Can't get to sleep! Feeling ok other than that. Vitamins bananas etc don't help! I ****** my brain For sure this past year! I used to be so energetic and now dead..lol but seriously life goes on! I tried an oxynorm 10mg one year ago. And ten days ago I was up to snorting 25 of those a day.  Never did another drug (narcotic) in my life. But I did this and made it to day 9 of the hardest 9 days of my life! Never expected this. Seriously, for 9 days I have just drunk tea, eaten pretty good each day, but staying in bed the vast majority of time. Past 2 days I have been going outside and that will increase each day but lack of sleep kills me! Thanks for all the support and you are all beautiful people inside and out so never Lose sight of that and u won't lose sight of u.....

Hey Mike...
Congrats on the 9 days!  As for sleep...Honestly it takes time and patience.  I still struggle some nights and it's been 49 days for me.  The key (and I know I say this a lot on here-but it's true) Is getting out and being as active as you can once the worst of the physical detox is over.  The vitamins and supplements are really important but the single thing that helped/helps me function is exercise.  The natural endorphins that are released improve your mood, cognitive ability, and go a long way to lessening anxiety.  The more exercise the better-gotta get your heart pumping.  And if you can do it in the fresh air...So much the better.  So definitely use that health club of yours and hopefully they have a sauna.  You sweat out the toxins faster and it will relax and rejuvenate you.  I do a sauna every day and it's been a godsend.

Congratulations on the awesome work...Keep it up.....

Love it too! Tomorrow I move into a hotel with a great fitness center/spa. It was the plan for the 10th -13th days before i started detox last week. So I will be alone because I need that but friends are close by in the city and just a call away! So looking forward to it! Been sleeping at a friends place for the past 9 days....trying to sleep that is.  So now it's time for me to get up, get out and get something!  My life back!

And great job to you too! Tapering works for so many if you just follow it as planned. You'll be fine in no time!

Thanks so much! I will just wait for the sleep to come ad stop trying to induce it. It just makes my days drag on without the energy. But on a lighter note, I just ordered some sushi and had a great lunch just now! Maybe the ginger will help or if not then the wasabi did it's job scaring the hell out of my mouth! Lol

Congrats on day 9....no seep is a bummer....even that I am tapering. My sleep isn't good....that is too bad the tea isn't working for you...I just started drinking the kava tea and the 2 times I have drank it I have had a good night sleep...

Again congrats on day 9
