I would think that would be dangerous yes ..... When did he cut you off ?Did he not provied any type of taper program .
That is 600 mgs of oxycodone? awful lot for a doctor to prescribe....ct at that dose would be a definite challenge...have u seen another doctor or talked to ur current dr about this drastic cut in dose?
my husband lost the paper script or it was stolen by someone in our house and doctor wold not do anything-jerry commited suicide lss than 48 hours later-i feel like he ws too overly medicated- oxy 80x6 and oxycodone 30 x 4-he was only 40 but i feel like the doctor should not hav elet him do this alone even if he could not give him another script
Oh wow. Consult a Methadone Clinic ASAP. Just at least let them get vital signs and stuff then from there decide if you want to start the medication. Yeah, you probably should have been put on Methadone and sent to a clinic OR you may need long-term in patient treatment (which ***** and you have no contacts). Sorry to hear that. Hope you get better. They may just want a certain amount out of you before you go to a clinic. But try to find one and ask all the questions you can think of and get in there. Shop around because there are some places that are cheap. Like anywhere from $12 a day for 6 months. Which is good. Or $200 per hour not including the medical procedures and ****. Just hope you get better. Best of luck.
i only know that jerry had chronic back and leg pain and said that he wished that they would just cut his legs offs-he knew he was addicted but he couldnt live with the pain either-2 hours after he died the doctors answering service called back and said that they wouls see him ion another town the next day which would have been on a monday-i feel strongly that jerry called this answering service and left a descriptive message about the situation.
this was my husband and i underestimated his pain and his addiction,i just didnt understand. When i told the emts and the emergency personnel his meds and dosage they thought that i was just hysterical and that they were not right. In december,he asked the dr to put him on methadone but the dr said no that it wouldnt help, but he did give him nitro for his chest pains and sent him for an ekg-all of his everday symptoms, I am finding out are just part of having this drug in his system-i dont have any knowledge about this kind of situation, only being the enabler for an addict.
