of no pills I'm also tapering off the subs hey they never kept me from using so why should i take them and i went to a meeting this morning i worked so i was 15 mins late and they ended a little early so I'm going to one tonight and I'm bringing my son and its my first NA meeting the other 2 were AA i will be going to both oh and anyone out there that is trying to quit and is not going to meetings and is keeping their using from their spouse and or family you will not stay clean i resisted for sooooo long just ask these guys but they pounded it in my head ALL the time and i finally got it this CANNOT I REPEAT CANNOT  be done alone and in secret it just can't ok you guys are probably sick of hearing from me lol

I aint sick of hearing from you!!  great job, baby!  so glad you are getting to an NA meeting, glad its a family affair ... so proud and happy for you!

I've been grinning like a chessy p*ss...or to say it another way....like a Cheshire Cat as you are sharing these realizations about your recovery!

You have made HUGE progress, Kelly!  I am so glad you have 3 days off pills and had been wondering what you were doing with the subs?  Surely you weren't taking pills at the same time as subs since you know the subs cover the opiate receptors?  Do you have a plan laid out that will get you off the subs in a short amount of time?

Talking to you hubby, your son, your Dad?  You're amazing me!!  How did it go with your Mom?  I'm sure you will see differences and yet similarities as you go to NA after having been to AA.  They are BOTH full of blessings and you will find some "favorite" meetings and a home group as you continue to go.  Let us know how it's going.....your posts have been delightful......let the recovery begin, eh?

YOU are GROWING Kelly..I am so glad to see this..YOU will alway grow more and more everyday..Even at 627 day (i think) I still grow more & more. Every time I go to a meeting and it is either AA or NA I pick up something new..Even if it has been said over and over it just takes time for some things to really sink in..It also has to do with growing more. I am so glad you let it all out. NOW just take it Day by Day as you soon will be at a balance, Spiritually, Physically and Mentally and then off you go and grow even faster..It is like we are Baby's for a long time and then we can reach that Toddler stage..That is where I am at now the Toddler stage..I will take my TIME to GROW Up now..Hahaha..lol

Your recovery is a "we" , not an "I". So good for you going to meetings and listening and learning. That is a huge step. Get phone numbers from the ladies and keep an eye out for a sponsor. You are well on your way lady and I am so proud of you!!!!!! Let us know how it goes.
