You know I don't think you should be smoking pot when pregnant, but let's put out FACTS people.  No state currently has enacted legislation re testing of mother/baby.  They will test only if there is probable cause.  13 of the 50 states have laws re mandatory REPORTING. Meaning if they have evidence of drug use they must call child services.  T

I agree with this comment.  So many babies are born going through withdrawals, that drug testing is mandatory.   And if you've been smoking your whole pregnancy, your baby is more likely to be born low-birth weight and with respiratory issues.

Please, if you love this child, tell your doctor what you've been doing.  Be an adult...you're going to be a mommy now, and you need to stop taking drugs so you can be there for your little one.

Most hospitals now test newborns for any type of drug.  I would come clean to your OB.
