Feeling better. Day 8

I've had a very good day today. Lots of cleaning and relaxing. I can feel a lot of the symptoms let up. The anxiety is nearly gone. I will never go back to this wicked evil drug.

Thank you all so much! I'm exhausted today. Cricket I'm getting 6 hours. Which I know isn't bad but it's broken up throughout the night so it's rough lol

Thanks dozeman. It was hell on earth but I'm soooooo glad I'm passed it. I was on 10 vicodin a day for 2 years and that withdrawl was soooo easy compared to this one of 6 tramadol a day for 3 weeks. It's insane how horrible it is. I'm so glad to be going into day 9

The no sleep thing is tough, and it can take a while before things are back to normal. You can try some natural remedies like Sleepy Time Tea, or Alteril, or Melatonin that may help. Also getting outside for some exercise is good. Limit your caffeine especially at night. Keep your bedroom as cold and dark as you can, and snuggle under the blankets. Take the sleep when you can get it. Don't lay in bed and toss and turn. If you can't sleep, get up read a book, or listen to some soft and calming music, and then try again.  Be patient. Sleep will return.

Well in all honesty I caved today which was day 3 for me. Almost 72hours. I felt really ashamed but instead of how I used to be like **** it im gettin more I was disgusted and know to never cave again. I hope it doesnt start me to day 1 again. Im just so ready to be done. Im coming off of op40's and perk 15's and would get vics in between and had quite a bit of tramadol the past few months.

Kgn I'm coming off tramadol which in my (and most others) opinion is way worse than norco. It's absolutely HORRIBLE. 8 days in and I'm feeling fabulous today! Praying I get some more sleep soon though.
