suggestions for sober fun

good morning all.  today is my first day off work in 7 days and i am so antsy this morning.  normally i would be buying a few beer, and waiting for my coke deal to go down soon.  today i just feel like partying. i have a pocket full of money, but things are no longer the same, i can't party like that no more, its kinda depressing.

does anyone here have any suggestions on how to have some sober fun, cause im not used to that. i mean what is there to do when your surrounded by 10ft of snow, lol.  i wanted to post this cause i have detected something weird going on in my brain this morning, its although my mind is telling me im no longer an addict cause im 75 days clean, but i know that is ********. i just really have this urge to have fun today.  i would appreciate any suggestions for fun without drugs, i think i have to take caution today for some reason.

I have always played music in band's, but kinnda stopped while i was do'n the " ill's ".

Now i am pushing hard with a very good band..

I do not think of ills or anything like that during the JAM time..

i am not sure if anyone suggesded this one yet...but why dont ya go outside down to your skibbies..and make a snow angel...then i bet your nieghbors would probally plan the rest of your day for ya by calling your local police!...and you wouldnt have to worry about having to think of any sober fun things to do...the only draw back to this is explaining to the police that you really are sober...you could always show them this post while your making bail....mmmm.... now that i read my post ..maybe this isnt such a good idea!!! oh well  i... will try to think of something elese for you...

Lots of good suggsetions...you need to hook up w/ some sober/clean friends.....treat yourself to something nice... I'm taking my son to buy new sweats for his wrestling tourney tomorrow....I didn't spend that  $$$ on drugs this week, so I thought i'd treat him to something!

believe me, you do not want to hear me sing, im so bad i won't even sing alone, i give myself a headache. im in no shape to ski, still have this rib injury, but yes i love skiing. im a nutbar on the slopes, haha. always like night skiing.

lmao, some great ideas here. i just got back home. it is snowing so bad now, literally whiteout, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. i actually just bought into online poker and won my first game. if this keeps up this town will be shut down soon. im not kidding, ive never seen this much snow in my entire life. someone come dig me out, lmao.

do u have a indoor sports park? I play v-ball ever Tuesday. Indoors of course cuz of all the snow. But hey racquet ball, awesome luv it.  But get the playststion 3.  Damn it now iam going to go play the playstation 3. I'll b on that thing all day.

How about cranking up some music and pretending to be a rock star.. Or better yet, you have money, go and get guitar star and hook that up.  I am a rock star and and a champion ski-er ( in my own mind).  My hubby and kids will tell you diff.  Thus the nickname

how about if u play poker with sober people. I dont know my husband and his friends play poker all the time. I just thought that would be my suggestion since i know a lot of guys around me that do that, just try not to gamble all ur money away!

wow I luv u guys but those r some vail attempts at fun(j/k)  try platstaytion 3, buy games like call of duty or resistance fall of man.  Their shooter games, I used make fun of one of my clean friends cuz that all he did. U can play online join clans n kick some butt. Lots of fun buy a mic so u can talk to people on ur team. Its free to play online. Highly addictive. But u can't shove a playststion 3 down ur throat. Seriously get one resistance is the easy of the to to play. Iam 34 and so is just about everyone else that plays.
