I totally get the after care. I will get some.thanks for the support Rick.
Oh yes I forgot to mention, Day 8 is a great start but now its time to figure out how you will remain sober. That is the job of aftercare and we all need some sort of it. Aftercare teaches us how to deal with lfe as an addict and gives us the tools to cope with life's unexpected pitfalls. Aftercare also helps us gain insight into why we use and what we can do to change things. I know I am always harping on aftercare but I know from personal experience without it I would have probably relapsed. God Bless---Rick
Congrats On day 8 keep on going my friend you are doing great!
MC & Really a big CONGRATS on day eight it is a great accomplishment and you both should be proud of yourselves. The energy will eventually come back as time goes on. Try to get in some exercise as it will jump start your metabolism and endorphins. So Keep on Keepin on you are doing great. God Bless---Rick
Congrats. Day 8 pretty much puts you on solid ground. You'll struggle with sleep for a bit longer, but if you're eating a lot of healthy food the energy should come back very soon. Even if you really don't feel like eating, eat. Now's the time to start looking into after care. Great job.
Day 8 for me as well. Tired and down a bit today. Energy a little low, can't wait to get to 15 days where I think energy comes back altogether or has in the past. Sleep is an issue still as I toss a lot. I have had my husband sleep on the couch for the past week. Taking embien which has provided sleep just trouble falling a sleep and up early. Tonight will try with just melatolin and a hot bath. I will not take anything no matter how long it takes to fall asleep, at least it is a weekend. I am sad that my life took this turn but am will make it....:Here is to Day 8.
