Not sure who saw my post this morning about me falling last night getting into the tub.  This morning my left upper leg was hurting so bad I could hardly stand it.  Broke down and went to urgent care and guess what folks, I have a stress fracture of the femur.   GUess that shoots my plan to run away with the kids in the foot (pardon the pun).  Might as well try to see some humor (rather laugh than cry, especially since i have been doing plenty of the latter lately.  I want to find my sister and get her a-- straightened out.  I want to take care of the kids, and I don't want m y grandmother to suffer.  I guess this little setback will force me to do little of the above.  I guess this is my attempt at a pity party, which I usually do not have.  Making up for lost time I guess....keep those prayers and words of encouragement coming.  Love to all.   I am icing my leg and trying to deal with this pain.

You have every right to have a bad day, I think you are entitled to bit** as much as you would like!! The book think is actually a good idea. LOL....not memories that you probably are going to want to relive, but at the same time, it may be useful to others going through similiar things. As always, I have you in my thoughts and prayers. Hope it settles for you soon.

THanks - I did get a pain script (hydrocodone 7.5) but i am not too worried, as that has never been my thing.  They tend to make me nauseated.  I am going to take as few as possible and supplement with advil.  I know I will get thru this but dag gone!!

When this is over I may pen a book.  Let's see - what could we call it?  "How to lose a sister, grandmother, a bone and your sanity in 10 days without really trying"  My pen name could be Lucky.

Or I guess we could call it the Coke and The Klutz.   Same pen name would work, or maybe on this one my alias could be Grace Happy.  Sorry guess I am just a little punch - very little sleep, and half a pain med will do it I guess.  Keep in touch all.  Much love and God bless.

i think this is gods strange way of telling u to slow down and worry about you!!!!
Remember there are things u can't change, so consontrate on only you and those kids....I know you will worry but please just give it to god!!!!

my friend did the same thing as you, in tub, and fractured same thing, she healed great and just had to rest....SO you need to rest

Oh, you poor thing, its just one thing after another. Well now you need to concentrate on getting you better. Once you do that, you can help your sister. I'm here for you if you need someone. Sometimes you need to just feel bad and get it out of your system. Things will start looking up and like Cathy said someday you really will be able to laugh at this.

Sorry to hear that. Did they give you pain meds? You need to take care of you now. You are doing great with the kids. They are blessed to have hot meals, books to read, and a loving environment to feel safe in. I give you a ton of credit. I hope the pain will let up a little. I know you are worried about everyone else, and that is understandable, but remember, you can only do so much. You have went above and beyond the call of duty if you ask me. God Bless. Take a little time to rest yourself. I hope things start getting better soon.

you poor thing sounds like your luck is about like mine as of late...or lack of luck lol   dont let this get you down...you are a great sister and aunt..you are gonna make it.  this will pass and one day you really will laugh about it.
