I have trouble sleeping and eating so I take half of one and feel better what is something i can take that will not harm my baby 5th child please help

Hi there. You need to speak to your OBGYN about this immediately. Xanax is a category D drug which means it is known to cause birth defects. It also can be dangerous to you and baby to abruptly discontinue use depending on amount and length of use. I'm not trying to scare you, I just want you to know how serious this could potentially be. Are you pregnant now?  How much are you taking.  You really need to talk to your physician about this.  Did someone advise you on taking this for eating and sleeping?  How ling have you been doing this?  Are you addicted?  Have you posted on the pregnancy forum?
