So sick of feeling short of breath.

I have a long history of GAD, anxiety attacks and panic attacks. I never had much problem with shortness of breath though until about 6 months ago maybe a bit longer. Now it's to the point where it's happening everyday. My upper chest will feel tight and I'll start getting the feeling that I'm not getting enough air which makes me want to yawn to get a deep breath. It seems like an anxiety related issue only sometimes when my chest starts to tighten I don't feel particularly anxious. I quickly become anxious though when it happens. I've tried to relax and do deep breathing but that only seems to make it worse and make me a bit lightheaded. It's also worse when I'm up moving around. I am a heavy smoker and I do need to give that up. I'm just wondering why I never had a much of a problem with anxiety related chest tightness and now it happens every day.

yes I've been on Celexa for years and have tried two other meds but the anxiety and my depression seem to come and go in cycles.
