Are you feeling anxiety and panic?  It sounds like you are fearing panic attacks.  As tara said, you need to go see someone to talk about it.  Are you specifically concerned about something or are you just having general anxiety?

If you are, then you have come to the right forum.  You said you were afraid to drive.  When I first had a panic attack out of the blue about three years ago now, it totally debilitated me.  I went from being happy, enjoying life, and being extremely social to being afraid to leave my house; I was also terrified to drive, I thought I was having major health issues and something was wrong with my heart, I a worried, paniced, worried and ended up running to the ER and seeing a bunch of doctors and tests came out fine.

What helped me was to go talk to a mental health care professional (counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, etc, whoever you feel comfortable with).  I also worked with my doctor and they put me on an SSRI and combined with counseling it did wonders.  I know you are probably confused and wondering, "why me?"  I asked that question over and over when I was having multiple panic attacks a day.  I lost my sense of who I was and became severely depressed.

But what I can tell you, is that I was panic/anxiety free for years and enjoyed life MORE than before that experience.  My anxiety has returned recently but I have the knowledge (which is power) to understand what I am going through.  I also suggest that you join this forum.  This is an OUTSTANDING group of people that have gone through and are going through what you are experiencing.  Everyone here cares about how you are doing.  If you have any more questions do not hesitate to ask.  You wil get so many different opinions, which is great, because people handle this in different ways, and although you sometimes don't see it right away, it does get so much better!
