Brown Spotting after using Plan B? Scared.

My last period started on the 29th of August and ended on the 3rd of September. On the 7th of September, my boyfriend and I had sex with a condom but the condom broke. We're not sure if any of the ejaculation actually went in because he pulled out right before. Anyway, scared, we went and bought Plan B and I took it about two hours (at most) after the accident occurred.
My next expected period was on the 26th of September (yesterday). However, the whole week prior to my expected date, I had light brown spotting and mild cramping. Now the spotting has gone away and there have been no signs of my actual period.
I'm just wondering if this is a normal result after taking the Plan B emergency contraceptive and if this has happened to anyone else in the past...
I don't know if my period is late because of the pill or because of pregnancy and it's really starting to scare and stress me out. I know that one day late is a little early to be worrying but my period is usually very punctual.
Please any responses or advice is welcome, I would really like to know.

Hi,
It is early to say whether the periods are delayed because of the pill or because of pregnancy or because of stress. Just wait for 2 to 3 days and take a pregnancy test. Consult your Doctor.
Hope this helps.

Hello there,
Hope you are doing well. After taking plan B as emergency contraception a woman may get her next period at the expected time, or a few days early or late. Few women may experience spotting a few days after taking plan B.This occurs due to the hormonal fluctuations due to taking emergency pills. Till the time you’re waiting for your next period, it is advisable to abstain from having intercourse .Even if you having sex you should make sure that you use a contraceptive. If your periods are delayed by more than a week of the expected date it is best to consult a gynecologist. A clinical examination will be helpful. This is only a advice and not a substitute for medical examination. Keep me posted with more queries. Hope it helped.
Best wishes and regards!
