Good luck on the appeal...I got denied 2 x's for my LTD and have not started the SSID yet...my DH just located a lawyer that may be able to help with that so we r putting the SSID off...I want what I paid for...lol.....
It seems too many feel u had surgery and u r fixed...that is not the case...I find I still have to push to do things and then have a few days I can barely move.
Once we get the awareness and the right education on how chiari really affects us and not how most books r written on the subject...then and only then will it get easier to get someone to understand that does not have it.
Hang in there Scottie....and I hope u can pop on a bit more when u have time : D

Glad to know I'm not the only one who gets this. It's just one of those oddball things that's started happening in the past few months, but at least it's one that is a "giggle".
Selma~ I'm doing okay. I was turned down for SSI and am now in the process of appealing it. Had to get a lawyer, oh, yay. Not that there was any doubt they were going to do so, lol. Only thing is, they did so within 20 days of my filing for it!!! How often does any government office work THAT fast??? According to the doctor, "while she may have some disabilities due to Chiari Malformation, this does not preclude her from doing significant work." What a goober! I've had some down days, but for the most part, I'm trying to stay chipper, even with the pain. I think my family is getting irritated with me when I start the day out with "oh, geez, I hurt today!" so I'm trying to put a positive spin on it. If I can't do one thing one day, I'll try to see what things I CAN do, do them, and then do the put-off stuff at a later date. Which means my house doesn't always look as well as I'd like it to, but there ya go, lol.

Hi Scottie...it's been awhile...how r u besides ur bubbles?
This seems to be very common issue with chiarians...and thought to possibly be either CSF or some kind of vibration that can be heard bcuz of the bone near the ears......I felt it was CSF....I had this b4 surgery and not so much afterward...I though *** was bcuz I had a blockage.....each dr u talk to will say something different.
Glad to hear from u again : )

Yes I get this all the time! I usually notice it first thing in the morning when waking. I'd be interested to know what it actually is. Actually I thought everyone experienced this until I found out differently!
since i read this this morning, i've been saying burbles over and over. I can't help you, and for that, I am sorry... but i have found my new favorite word!
I just got that last night for the first time...I am barely 26 weeks post op too....it was weird!! Like a Disturbed soda bottle ready to blow!!
yeah i do occasionally and your right it is funny. I can in weeks without hearing it and then when it happens it kinda scares me and then i laugh about it. Its just weird.... Shannon
I have to say that I don't think I every have...but that is so weird!!!
I'm sure someone here does though...
