egg crate or memory foam

My mattress is too firm for me.  does anyone have any reccomendations for chosing a mattress pad?  I am looking at egg crate pads and memory foam.  Which? is better

Yes, I forgot to mention that there r different grades on the memory foam....so do try it out first.

i'd go for the memory foam too... BUT! just a warning, memory foam can be VERY firm!!! so, i'd say try it out if possible first!!!

Hi...My DD had the egg crate pad and I did not like the feel of it and neither did she.
She then got the memory foam and it was by far better than the egg crate...but it is a matter of opinion.

If it was for me I would def get the memory foam!!
