Sunday Weigh In - Aug 8, 2010

Okay folks, here we are, with another week behind us and it's time for "show and tell".  

For anyone who is new, and might not know what this is all about, this is the time of the week that we discuss our weight issues, how we did over the past week, whether we gained/lost, or any other issues you have with you weight.

Personally, I don't think I did too badly, although I know I could have done better.  I'm actually up 0.2 lbs from last week, but I don't see this as an issue because I do have some fluid retention issues and my thyroid levels are off right now.  I also went to my aunt's yesterday and she always wants to go out for breakfast.  I did limit my intake, and opted for oatmeal instead pancakes, but it was still not what I should have eaten.  

This coming week will be my last week of 10 hour days, which we've been on for the summer, so I'm looking forward to sleeping better and having time when I get home to get back to exercising daily again.

Okay -- now, it's your turn.  How did you do this past week and to what do you contribute your success or setback?  

Hoping everyone had a good week; or at least is comfortable with it, and ready to start a new one.

I'm down a couple of pounds and my boss today commented my face looks slimmer. she hasnt seen me for two weeks as she's been on holiday. I'm hoping this is my new thryoid meds, cytomel, I feel lighter and more energetic, I thnk. We'll see how things develop over the next few weeks.

Oh and I had a delicious few days in Spain which is why I missed last week's weigh, had delicious ice cream every day as I refuse to be good on holiday! So I should have gained really. am very happy to be down instead of up, even if it is just a tiny bit.

Well after a month of not doing good, losing focus and eating a lot of rubbish -  I am back ont rack and am over the moon to have dropped 4.2lbs in the first week :)

Not sure why my tracker didn't show up.  It seems that last week it did automatically.  How do I get it to show?

The scale shows I have lost 3 lb since last week, but I am only .5 down from the week before so I think I was just bloated  or measured at a weird time last week.  Ate better this week, but went to a festival with my mother on Wed.  She bought fresh beer-battered onion rings, and a huckleberry bar a la mode.  She didn't eat much of either though.  I wasn't able to resist and ended up eating what she didn't even though I had just eaten dinner.  Basically stuffed myself.

I still haven't been motivated to get any exercise. I had to be on my feet a lot more than usual at work so probably burned few extra calories there.

Was having insomnia issues, so started a new sleep med am having trouble getting used to it, so my sleep schedule is still way off.  I am sleeping too much and feeling drowsy, so I have been taking naps when I am at home..  I need to take less of the med, but sometimes it takes a long time to work, so I end up getting frustrated and taking a little more.  Hopefully I can get back on track soon.

Last Sunday I started the SlimStyles PGX system and actually saw some movement.  I'm down 1.2 pounds and was actually down farther but am feeling PMS swelling right now.  It is really helping me to control my appetitie.
