Good morning, everyone; hope all is well in your world today. As I stated last week, there was a death in my family and I had to be away for the funeral last week; now I'm back from my travels and getting back to "normal" (whatever THAT is).
Even though it was a sad occasion, I did enjoy seeing all my siblings again, as well as other family members, some of whom I had not seen in 20-30 yrs. We spent a lot of time catching up, and even managed to have some fun.
Of course, there was WAY too much of the wrong types of food and I ate more than I should have; however, when it's all said and done, I'm only up by a pound (from 145.8 to 146.8). In addition, my fingers and feet are swollen and stiff this morning (too much sitting around for the week), which tells me I'm retaining fluid, so I'm not going to worry about that pound; chances are, it will be gone by the end of the day anyway.
Okay, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it........ how about everyone else? If you've met your goal, we surely want to hear about it, as well as what you did to achieve it. If didn't meet your goal, maybe we can help figure out what might get you back on track again.
I know I'm going to have to really get busy, as the official beginning of summer is only 16 days away!! Wow, that's not much time left!!
I restocked my fridge with salad fixin's, so will make several salads to have on hand, for either lunch or dinner. I tend to eat my largest meal of the day at lunch, but if I have the salads made, they will be easy to grab for dinner.
