Congratulations on your loss...... You're right it, doesn't matter whether it was water weight, or not; that has to come off, too.

Yes, we are all in the same boat.  You really can't compare yourself to anyone else, because we're all so different. The size of our frame makes a big difference in what we should weigh.  If you have a small frame, someone else your height might have a large frame, so weights would be completely different.

We do support every weight here and goals, as long as they are reasonable. We encourage healthy weight loss, not rapid weight loss, which is often dangerous. Our main goal is to help motivate people and encourage everyone to lose the excess weight they carry, whether it be from simply overeating, lack of exercise, or as in my case, a medical illness.

I like your saying.

Thank you Barb, it is good to know everyoneis supportive here of all weights and goals. the last site I tried to get weight loss support through was way too pro ana for me. I have always heard the saying 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels' so I changed it to 'nothing looks as good as healthy feels'! stay strong ladies & gentlemen!

Hey! so it looks like we are in the same boat almost. I am 87 kgs and my goal is 60 kgs. It will be fun to see how we both do. I am 5 foot 6 inches tall and proportionate, no one part of my body is really larger than anywhere else. what build are you just to help me get an idea of where I should be with my weight lose in comparison to someone else! After 1 week I have lost 1.5 kgs which could be water weight but I dont care I am so happy!!

We're all here to support each other and help any way we can.

One way to help keep yourself accountable it the Sunday Weigh In post that I do every Sunday morning, so people can report on their week.  Even if Sunday isn't your day to weigh, that's okay.  You can either check in on whatever say you weigh, or check in on Sun, just to let us know how you're doing.

Hey there! Glad to hear you are taking control! I have recently started eating healthier and exercising to loose some extra weight. My goal weight is 150lbs, I am currently 196lbs so I have a ways to go! Remember, slow and steady wins the race! My first priority is to cleanse my body. I am making the switch to organic/natural foods and less processed foods! keep me postedon your progress :) good luck!
