Could I have contracted HIV from an ear piercing?

a few days ago I got my ear pierced at a kiosk in the mall.
The guy there was using a piercing gun and I ignorantly had no knowledge about piercing guns.
During the process I was signing things and he was doing stuff behind me. He did put on a pair of gloves, clean my ear, and then open up new packages. He explained to me how to clean it and was very stern when he told me. Im worried Sick I never in that situation realised the risk I put myself in
Let's say the worst case scenario:
Lets say the guy SOMEHOW plucked himself while I wasn't looking with Hiv positive blood...( the reason why he would do it is irrelevant) and pierced my ear with it..( time laps about 8-20 second from transmission to piercing) I know it sounds rediculous but what are the chances of Hiv survival in this case and transmission. Can someone please help me because I'm freaking out.

We are NOT going to do the "what if" crap.
The people who work in malls are thoroughly checked out by the owners of the mall before they are allowed to do business there. It all has to do with liability.
This person sounds very professional and did everything by the book to prevent ANY kind of infection to you.
Do what he said and keep your ear clean until it heals and then let this irrational fear go.

Your runny nose sounds like a cold virus you picked up from one of the thousand other people at the mall and has absolutely NOTHING to do with HIV.
