Hiv from unsterilised vagnia speculum

Can I get hiv from unsterilised vagnia speculum during the pap test and not used for 2 hours before the pap test

Hello. No, this would not pose any risk of hiv.  Air inactivates the virus. The speculum would be exposed to air. So regardless if they washed it or not, it would not transmit the virus. You can't get HIV from an object like that. The only ways people get HIV is to have unprotected vaginal or anal sex or share IV drug needles.
