HIV infected?

Hello,
I was travelling with my friend in his bike ( riding pillion ). He was very rash and to make a long story short , he skid and i flew front. I crashed the ground and went rolling. I dunno how but i rolled over a syringe ( having BLOOD ). The needle punctured my skin but did not go deep inside. ( about 1 -1.5 mm ) .The puncture site did not bleed there was blood on my skin from the syringe . I'm sure that something was ejected from the syringe. Could that blood have infected my bloodstream , maybe HIV infection? Am i dead?

I went to my doctor who told me that i would have to take a test after 6 months for HIV.How can i wait that long? I was not a suitable candidate for PEP and i have no medical insurance.
The syringe may have had hiv blood but could it have reached my bloodstream ?, cos the site did not bleed and the needle went for a very small depth. But when i pulled the syringe outside , my skin also was pulled along with it. ( you know when u stick some surface with something and take it out , the layer is pulled little ) i hope you can understand what i meant.

What is my risk of HIV infection? Can i escape HIV infection even if HIV blood had reached my blood stream?
Please tell me what i should do.

What do you mean? Are you saying that because the needle did not go deep?
