Hiv from nail salon?

Hi,was at a nail salon and the nail tech used the same buffer at me and another girl back to back cause she was running late. At one point she scratched my skin with the buffer and created a tiny blood drop! Now im scared that what if the buffer had blood from the other girl and  when she scratched me her blood got in to my system and got hiv..:( Im really panicking,i have a small baby,im i at risk?

This is not a risk. The only risks for HIV are having unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV needles to inject drugs. Can't get HIV from an object. Air inactivates the virus. NO risk.

Hi,thanx for the reply! Can you explain me why not? Im literally driving myself sick from stress :(
You were told the only risks above. hiv is dead in air and saliva. There is no need to know anything more about why the thousands of ways that you can get cut with objects don't present a risk -  otherwise we'll be here all day going over everything that can happen to cut you.
