I'm Toast - I know I got HIV. I have optic neuritis
Hi, just came back from my doc yesterday morning who said I have optic neuritis. That is inflammation of the optic nerve cause by HIV / Viral infection / Bacterial infection
My exposure was nothing, just a massage with handjob and nipple sucking. I didn't do anything. I think I got the virus from hand or the table.
I knew something wasn't right my eyes started hurting, headaches, burning mouth, toothaches, enlarge lymph nodes, Severe cheek pain inside, gum inflammation
How do you tell others? Your love one.
I have all the symptoms of low immune system.
My test was Duo At 4 weeks neg and oraquick fluid test at home 7 weeks - neg - none of these are reliable as it takes 13 weeks for final results.
I have all the classic symptoms. Dr. Hunter says you can't get anything..Well I'm first.
I'm done and toast.

27 days, 28 days makes no difference.
You may or may not be healthy, and optic neuritis can be a serious problem -- both for its own sake and because of an underlying disease that causes it. But that doesn't mean it's HIV. Clearly it is not, and your own doctor probably said the same thing. Syphilis is a possibiility, a much more common cause of ON than HIV, and could explain all your symptoms. Were you tested for it?

And by the way, saliva kills HIV, it doesn't transmit it by nipple sucking or any other contact.

I thought hand to genital massage is risk free, no std? so am i that rare rare case dr hhh and cook talk about?

There's nothing more we can say to you, we're not here to debate with you something we factually, scientifically know to be true.
You've already got yourself convinced of the impossible, even despite the facts and the PROOF that you don't have HIV. Tests don't lie.

Too bad you didn't say something about your reactive arthritis from the start. ReA sometimes causes optic neuritis. If you have a rheumatologist, make sure s/he knows of your ON diagnosis.
Clarification: Reactive arthritis causes various kinds of eye inflammation, especially conjunctivitis or uveitis. I'm not sure whether it can cause optic neuritis. But it seems like a good bet and for sure something to discuss with whoever provides care for your ReA.
